MDSS Product Demonstration
Showcase
FHWA has been working with public transportation
agencies and private sector vendors to conduct
regional Maintenance Decision Support Systems
showcases designed to encourage implementation of
field-proven technologies and processes. The
second of three showcases will be hosted by the
Pennsylvania DOT on Aug. 27, 2008 and the third
will be hosted by the Idaho Transportation
Department on Sept. 17, 2008. Details.
Mid Canada Snow Conference and
Trade Show
Sponsored by the Canadian Public Works
Association, this program will include
presentations, workshops and field tours designed
to put winter road maintenance professionals in
touch with the latest in snowfighting methods,
technologies and issues. Oct. 8 to 10, 2008,
