Winter storms often require emergency maintenance, but low-visibility conditions can make it harder for drivers to steer clear of people, animals, and other vehicles along the roadway.
To discuss how infrared technology can be used to improve visibility for drivers of snowplows and other vehicles during emergencies, the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will host a free webinar, “Evaluation of Infrared Technology to Improve Emergency Maintenance,” on June 5 from noon – 1 p.m. Central.
