Many transportation agencies have vehicle-mounted cameras for recording videos and images related to safety, operations and performance. With advances in technology and access to more visual information, managing the vast amount of data can be challenging.
This recently completed Clear Roads synthesis project surveyed member states and other winter maintenance professionals and reviewed relevant literature to help transportation agencies implement effective policies and best practices for properly managing the data.
