Providing clear and consistent messaging can help the public understand why and how states perform winter maintenance. However, public service announcement campaigns require significant time and resources to develop and distribute effectively.
To give agencies tools and resources for communicating effectively with the public, this project developed a Public Service Announcements Library that houses a variety of short-format videos and topic-specific messages that can be used for social media or other public-facing communication platforms.
